Board Subgroups
Three subgroups sit under the Knowsley’s Safeguarding Adult’s Board, each group is chaired by a partner organisation from the Board, and has a deputy in place for contingency. The membership varies in accordance with needs of the group, this is to ensure that we have the right representatives from the right organisations present. The Board is presented with updates from the three subgroups on quarterly basis:
Policy, Procedure and Practice – To support all practitioners across the adult workforce to have access to up-to-date guidance and procedures on all key safeguarding issues to support good quality practice and service for the Knowsley community.
Community Intelligence and Performance – To review safeguarding data and intelligence, undertake multi-agency audits to test the effectiveness of services and share recommendations and learning arising from these. The group uses data trends and actions to maintain and improve safeguarding practice.
Learning Partnership – To consider learning and development recommendations from safeguarding adult reviews (SARs), audits and self-assessment processes. The group shares and embeds learning across partner organisations, develops resources and learning opportunities for the adult workforce.
