Knowsley Safeguarding Adult’s Board (KSAB) have conducted a case study for a person “Frank” who was receiving care and support for some time and had been referred to the Muti-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) on multiple occasions.
The case study shows “Franks” journey and highlights good practice as well as consequences of delays in gaining support. - Bob’s Story
This case study highlights the multi-agency approach to making safeguarding personal for a victim of domestic abuse with care and support needs. - Eddie’s Story

The case study shows “Eddie’s” journey and highlights good practice as well as the need to Make Safeguarding Personal and listening to what “Eddie” wanted to happen. - Physical Abuse in Care Homes
This case study was nominated by a member of KSAB’S Community Intelligence and Performance Subgroup, as the data showed there had been a rise in physical abuse cases in the care home setting being reported into MASH. The case study is an example of how agencies work together to improve the outcomes for Adults in Knowsley. - Mary’s Story
This case study was requested by KSAB’S Community Intelligence and Performance Subgroup Chair, the case study was also presented to GP’s during a protected time event. The case study shows the importance of the MARAM process and agencies working together to reduce risk.
